Attention Pet Care Business Owners

August 21, 2017

Our friends at the Professional Animal Care Certification Council (PACCC) are on a pet safety mission through independent certification. Their next certification exams will be held in October but the deadline to register is September 15, 2017. PACCC certification requires real-world experience and pet care education so when pet parents see those credentials they really mean something. PACCC is currently on track to have 100 pet care professionals certified by the end of this year. If you’re a pet care professional who cares about pet safety and setting yourself apart from the crowd, get the details, below, on how you can become certified and be part of the history-making 100.

Independent Certification Details

The available testing dates for pet care professionals to become a Certified Professional Animal Care Provider (CPACP) or a Certified Professional Animal Care Manager (CPACM) will be October 14-28, 2017. The deadline to register for the exams is September 15, 2017. Registration information including which exam is right for you, registration requirements, and testing center locations is available at www.paccert.org/exam-info. As there are a finite number of seats each day the exams are conducted, pet care professionals who prefer a particular testing date during the two-week testing period are encouraged to register early as certain preferred dates fill up quickly.

The October PACCC exams marks the third round of testing by the council founded to bring independent certification to the pet care services industry, a milestone step for a rapidly growing, easy to enter industry frequently damaged by news reports of serious pet accidents and deaths.
